Salary Structure Explanation
Please find the attachment below for the Salary Structure. If I explain that structure, I would say that the Basic salary is 50% in metro cities and 40% in other cities. However, in metro cities too, according to companies' policies, Basic can be between 40% to 50%.
In many companies, medical reimbursement and conveyance are fixed at 1250 and 800, respectively. HRA is always 50% of Basic, and Special Allowance is also 50% of Basic. LTA is always the Basic of one month for a year or Basic / 12, resulting in one month LTA.
PF is always 12% of Basic. Please refer to the attachment below and go through the formula in the Excel sheet. In most companies, Basic (40% to 50%) is randomly decided to reach a certain CTC as demanded by the candidate.
For example, suppose a candidate asks for a 25000 CTC, then input such an amount in Basic so that the CTC will be 25000 as per the formula in the Excel sheet. I hope this will help you out; it is presented in a very simple form.
