Hi Abhay,

Very good effort indeed. Frankl's book has inspired me a great deal, and it's hard to imagine what kind of grit he must have had to survive a torture of unspeakable kind and come back to write a book on it. I read this book a couple of years back, after getting a clue in Covey's Seven Habits, where he mentions Frankl when discussing how we can manage the small, subtle space between stimulus and response.

I really appreciate such original efforts rather than thoughtlessly sharing downloads. Keep up the good work!

Though the quotes are good, there is something I want to add from the HR perspective, which is that man cannot live by bread alone.

The book hints at a survey indicating that out of 7948 students, 78% stated that a purpose or meaning to their life was necessary, while 16% said that making a lot of money was important. The book gives examples of alcoholics, neurotics, and even aggressive boy scouts and states that meaninglessness is the root cause of their problems. The author, who is also a psychiatrist, says elsewhere in the book that people with career problems also lacked meaning in their lives, which I feel is the most important - Make your passion your profession (Work prisoners and students).

That makes it suitable for this forum, in my opinion.
