Preparing for an Interview: What You Need to Know About Payslips and PF Numbers

URGENT....Please help. I am going for an interview.

1. Do all companies provide payslips?
2. Is it a simple Word/Excel file?
3. Is it mandatory to have a PF number on the payslip?
4. Can you send a sample payslip with a 3.6 lakh CTC??

Most companies provide pay slips, mostly in PDF format which cannot be edited. Some companies also give hard copies. The PF number should be displayed in the PF slip; however, not all companies follow this practice. You can find some pay slip samples on CITEHR.

Yes, it is mandatory. It can be either a Word/Excel hard copy. If it is made available online, it should be non-editable.
