Though the intention is good, the images are too blunt and should not be posted in public forums. Moreover, these pictures have been circulating in a chain of emails for the past 2 years.

Excellent presentation, and I really do not know why these types of figures are not published. Dear friends, this is an eye-opener for everyone. In my opinion, after serving 37 years in various capacities in industries, if people are not willing to see and correct themselves, I am afraid of how they will handle tough situations like this.

Hence, gentlemen, please accept the reality of life and try to learn from others' mistakes so that you can save yourself and your colleagues. I believe that making content like this available to the public can help train individuals and lead to a safer life.

I wish Shailesh all the best and encourage him to continue posting presentations like this for the benefit of others without worrying about negative comments.

Thanks and Regards,
J. Narayanan

@ J Narayanan,

I agree with your views. Shailesh, don't hesitate to post real facts that are really beneficial to building up safety awareness. Henceforth, while posting, just add a note "" NOT FOR VIEWING BY CHILDREN OR PERSONS WITH WEAK HEARTS!"

I agree with what Mr. Narayanan and Abhay have explained. Such presentations are an eye-opener for each of us. Why do we want to avoid seeing such practical incidences? This can happen anywhere where safety rules are bypassed. We must learn from this and should take necessary steps/actions in our respective organizations to avoid this happening.

Importance of Safety Inspections

That's why in some good organizations, a safety officer inspects and verifies every new incoming machine or equipment for required safety features to avoid such incidents.

Thanks, Shailesh, for sharing such an eye-opener. Keep posting, but with precautions as suggested by Mr. Abhay.

Though the pictures are horrible, they are eye-opening. In the industry and service sector, one should not engage in repairing, maintenance, or accident prevention activities unless they are fully experienced. Sometimes, out of ignorance or overconfidence, individuals find themselves in strange situations that result in personal loss and mental agony for family members and the organization they work for.

Once again, thank you for sharing this. I kindly request CITEHR members to share this with all their friends and family members.

This is a really horrible incident that no one wants to share, but you have done a good job in spreading safety awareness among all people who are not directly related to such kinds of jobs. Now it is our duty to share it with our colleagues so that we can minimize unsafe actions and conditions to prevent such incidents because it is a human tendency to create shortcuts and cause accidents to happen.

After all, "Prevention is always better than cure," and we should start with ourselves to adopt safe practices, whether at home or in the workplace, with safety always being a top priority.

Thanks once again.

Prashant

Dear All,

Thank you to everyone for their valuable comments, whether they are good or bad. I believe that accidents can teach you more, and having photos can be more helpful than written words.

Thanks again.

Shailesh
