Minimum Wages (per day) in Gujarat (effective 01.04.2010)

Category------------Zone I-------Zone II--------Zone III

Skilled---------------138.3--------137.4 ----------136.7

Semi Skilled----------136.7--------136.0 ----------135.4

Unskilled-------------135.4 -------134.5-----------133.8

The above rates are for Pharmaceutical industry. You may check for industry you are working for. It will be around this.

Over and above the minimum wages, Special Allowance @ Rs. 22.2 per day is also payable.

Zone I - Area withing limits of municipal corporation and withing peripheral distance of 10 km

Zone II - Areas within limits of towns / cities having population of 1 lakh and above and areas falling within a peripheral distance of 5 km thereof.

Zone III - All areas other than those covered in Zone I & II.

I have checked the link sent by you but I could not found the Minimum wages of Gujrat State signed by the Labour commissioner of Gujrat.
If you can send me notification of Minimum Wages of Gurjat which is applicable on 01.04.2010.
