Feeling Anxious About Asking for My Confirmation Letter After 6 Months – How Should I Email My Manager?

Vignesh007
I had completed my 6 months in my company. During this time, I made some mistakes which resulted in receiving scolding from my manager. As a result, I now feel insecure about my job. I avoid meeting him in person and he communicates with me only through email or phone calls. Now, I need to ask for my confirmation letter since I have completed my 6 months here. However, I can't approach him directly as he rarely comes to the office nowadays. I have to email him, but since this is my first job, I am unsure about what to write in the email. Can you please help me out?

Hi Vignesh,

During the initial days or months, it takes time to adjust to a new job. Making mistakes is common, and managers may scold you; this is something that happens everywhere. However, I would advise you to ensure that you don't repeat the same mistakes. Don't be afraid of losing your job. Stay confident.

Regarding confirmation, how many months until you receive it? I believe it's 6 months, as you mentioned. Don't hesitate to ask; they will inform you soon.

Ok.
