Our's is a company in Mumbai. As per statutory requirements we have to carry out personal verification of our clients and this verification has tbe done by an employee of the copamny. Since we have clients in certain parts of India and we are located at Mumbai, we intend to appoint part time employees at these parts of India. This is not a regular work but it comes on and off. My question is how will these part time employees be covered under PF ESIC and Minimum wages Act. Our company is currently covered under PF & ESIC. We intend to pay them bear minimum since the work is not on regular basis and our requirement is only part time. If we employ staff full time for this work, then it is not possible for us to keep them engaged on full time basis and also pay travelling expenses. What should be the minimum salary payable to them as per Maharashtra region.
Very Very urgent.
