May I know how we calculate the salary of contract labor? We don't include them on the payroll, and I don't show any applicable labor laws. How should I proceed? Is there an agreement copy for the contract? Please send or attach it with the answer.
Your question is not clear. I presume you want one of the following:
(a) For the laborers engaged through a contractor, you need not prepare any salary statement for them. You have to pay the contractor according to your agreement with him, and you should ensure he complies with labor laws.
(b) For employees on a contract basis, you have to pay them upon the submission of bills by them, following the terms specified in the agreement.
