180 degrees PA for staff below managerial grade and 270 for managers and above - how to create a Performance-Based Pay structure?

askhena
Dear All, We are an NGO with a core staff strength of 82. This year we have implemented 180 degrees PA for staff below managerial grade and 270 for managers and above. Now is expected that we should have a Performance-Based Pay structure. Can anybody share your experience of having the same or give an idea of how to create a Performance-Based Pay structure?

I put a question here in revert, plz make me informed of that
My question is how many techniques or kind of PA(Performance Appraisal) we have till date i.e. 90; 120; 360 digree etc.?
& which one we should use in which condition with detail procedure to implement.
Any Presentation or Book would be an addition advantage for me if anyone could placed.
Will apreciate your early response.

Hi.
As on date there are mostly 3 types of PA in use viz. 90/180/360 degree. but 180 and 720 is also happening in many cases. About implementation guidelines pls get in touch with TV Rao learning stems or some good trining institute 'coz if you want to learn the the entire gamut of PA thru' this mailing process that will really be difficult.
Implementation of type of PMS will depend upon what type of work your organization is engaged into and organizational culture.

Hena

Hi Hena
Thanks a lot for your prompt response.
I have comprehensive knoweldge about PMS but the confusion is in regards to which tequnic we should use in which condition.
However PMS and PA both r diffrent. PA is a part of PMS.
But once again thanks for you.
