Crafting a Promotional Letter: Should I Include the Revised Salary Again?

I am designing a promotional letter for my firm wherein I had a doubt whether I also need to put in his revised or new salary again as we put it into the appointment letter. Please reply. Also, if anyone has any new format of a promotional letter, please do share it with me.
