Curious About Background Verification? How Do Companies Check Employment Duration?

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I know there are a lot of consultancies/practices that conduct background verification checks on employees. I am just curious, how does it work? Do they confirm the duration the individual worked at that company?

Hi Anand,

An employment verification will confirm a candidate's designation, period of employment, salary, reporting manager's name and designation, reason for leaving the organization, etc. It might also include information pertaining to the candidate's performance.
