Professional Tax Deduction [Thread 261772]

We need your advice of professional tax (PT)matter.
We have our office & employee in other states like Maharashtra,UP,Delhi,Bihar,AP and other. Salary of all these employees are being paid and debited in Bhopal. We are deducting PT and depositing in Bhopal, as per MP govt.PT slab.
We would like to know: 1. Can we deduct PT for employee working in other states. 2. If deducted, the same is to be deposited in same state or we can deposit the same in Bhopal.
Please advice.

we are a IT company in Pune. We have support engineers all over India. We deducted Profession tax from their salaries as per Maharashtra State PT slab as my company has a registered office in Pune(Maharashtra).
