Calculating Turnover Rates: How Do I Measure Employee Turnover from Jan to May 2010?

As mentioned in the subject, how can I calculate the rate of turnover for a specific period (from January 2010 till the end of May 2010)? Waiting for your assistance :)

Number of employees who left during the period of consideration divided by the average number of employees during that period, multiplied by 100.

Number of employees separated during the month / Total number of employees at mid-month X 100

Attrition Rate or Turnover = Number of employee resigned (from 1st Jan -2010 to 31st May � 2010) / Total number of employee (As on 31.12.2009) X 100
This is the calculation for turnover or attrition.
