Struggling with ESIC Costs: How Can Small Media Companies Protect Employees and Save Money?

piyaliganguli
I work in a small media company. I have a problem regarding ESIC. Most of the employees in our company have a medical policy (Medicalam), so ESIC is a loss for them. Even with the new ESIC policy, it is now Rs. 15,000/-, which is a loss for both the company and the employee. Therefore, I want to know what policy I should implement to save my company and employees from ESIC.

If you have 20 or more employees drawing wages below ₹15,000, as per the Government of India and Ministry of Labour, your office is covered under the said act.

It's a statutory obligation. You MUST register with ESIC. Further, you cannot compare the benefits of ESIC with any other mediclaims.
