First of all, you have to be aware of all statutory compliances like Minimum wages, Distribution of salary (Basic, HRA, Conveyance, DA, TA, etc.), PF, ESI (types of different forms, return submission, challan form, etc.).
If you are using any payroll software for this, then you have to fill in the entries and you will easily update all the managed tasks.
You have to keep yourself updated with the help of different websites related to State Government Rules & Regulations, PF, ESI, etc.
