How To Start Up With Hr Department - Doc Download

HI,
How to start up with HR department for a medical transcription company.
It is an two year old company.
What are all the policies and procedures to be followed.
From where can we make policies and how to start with those.
Please help me in this regard.

Policy Formulation & implementation
Manpower Planning
Recruitments & Formalities
Employee File Management
Training & Developement
Performance Apprisals
Compensation & Benefits
Payroll Administration
Statutory Compliances
Leave Management
Employee Welfare
Exit Formalities etc
Based on the current strengths of the HR people in the system you can look at adding team memebers where ever it is required.
Usually policies can be on salary disbursement, leaves, travel (local conveyance, accommodation etc), mobile, relocation, transfers, sexual harassment, employee benefits like insurance, etc. I am sure they are available on internet / citehr.

Mr. Narendra, I am currently going thru a similar exercise - helping an ITSM organiation set up their HR department. This document comes handy, in the sense, It helped me break the ground in terms of where to begin. Thanks for the beautiful document.

The attachment on the procedure to set up the HRD is very elaborate and clear, we are planning to set up the HR dept for a garments factory, this seemed very useful. Also let me know if there are any specific points to work on for a garments company.
