Creating a Comprehensive HR Manual: What Are Your Best Tips and Suggestions?

Hi all,

I am working as an AM HR in a travel company, and we have a newly set up HR department here. We are in the process of creating a latest and detailed HR Manual for our company. May I request all of you to kindly suggest some of the most interesting and useful ways to develop a comprehensive HR Manual?

Additionally, suggestions are welcome for the Employee Admin Handbook.

Orientation Manual (Manual), should comprise of
• About Company
• Introduction to Company
• Working of Company
• Company Rules and Regulation
• Company Workplace and Employee Ethics.
• Other Documents and Resources
i. Pay Query (Form)
ii. Employee Issue/Problem (Form)
iii. Conflict: Internal/External (Form)
iv. Leave Application (Form)
You can mention in your HR about the joining formalities, rules & regulation, Imp dates of organization, dress codes etc
You can also try to develope the forms i.e appriasal form, feedback form, suggestion form ect.
