Hi Kavitha,

ISO is not something that is kept in a basket and will be given to you. ISO covers various systems such as QMS, EMS, FMS, TS, laboratories, and many more. Which system are you talking about? Then you need to seek permission from management. First, understand your requirement.

For ISO implementations, you would need to undergo internal and external audits. Internal audits are generally done by the internal staff - MR (Management Representative/you can hire a consultant). External audits are conducted by the ISO agency personnel. The two most important things for an audit are the process and relevant documentation. For example, if you have a manufacturing process, the documentation part should be exact.

For HR activities, the focus is generally on recruitments and trainings. Keep a check on:

1. Resource requisition forms
2. Candidate Evaluation form
3. Induction acceptance forms
4. Personal files of employees
5. Training calendars
6. Training request forms
7. Training Feedback forms
8. Impact of training on employees.

For other departments, it is about the process and supporting documentation. I hope this information would suffice your query.
