Managing Driver Attendance: Is Our Current System Effective or Problematic?

Hi Seniors, my doubt is regarding our driver's attendance. Most of the time, they are outside with our directors, so they can't be available in the office. Hence, what we do is mark their attendance as 'p'. If they come to the office, they will sign in the register. Is there any problem with this type of attendance (some days 'p' and other days their signature)?

Please hand over the enclosed attendance sheet. At the end of the month, they will need to be resubmitted to the HR Department for wage calculations.
