am deepak and currently am facing a problem due to which my career is getting spoilt .
i joined my cuurent company through the reference of the vp as he was my family friend , i dint perform well in the interview but still they gave me job and am great full to that .after that i have been working there from past 1.8 yr and i have given my best and performed more than the expectation of the manger ,manager has even sent an appreciation mail telling that deepak is performing very well good keep it up .
i joined the company as a software engineer and was offered salary of 11000 which was the least in the team but it was during ressesetion and i was k with it initially but later after 1.8yr they gave the appraisal of 20 percent which increased my Sal by 2000 .but my manager had promised me that he will recommend 100% as i am performing well and he knows my ctc is low .so wen i asked manger abt the appraisal he said he recommended 100% per but the senior manager and the management have given this much and he is helpless .
At that point i felt its not professional good if i approach the vp for salary hike so i started searching for job and in a week i got a offer of 4.2 ctc but location was pune and iam staying in bangalore with family and am the only son so i dint wanted to leave them ,i said my manger that i have an offer of so much so kindly can he talk regarding this with the senior manager so the manger said me that he will try and he also suggested me that i can try for other offers in Bangalore .
i dint get any update from him than i got an offer from a very good mnc in Bangalore with the ctc of 3.4 but there i had to join within 15 days. i accepted the offer bcoz many people were relieved from my current company within a week r 15 days and according to the company policy i have to inform within 40 days and if i want to go within 40 days than i have to pay the 40 days salary so i thought i can get it done bcoz the company from where i got offer said me that they can buy the notice period .
so on the day of resigning t i thought i would be my duty that i should inform the vp before putting the papers as it was through him i joined the company so i tired to get his appointment but due to my bad luck he had gone abroad and would come back after a week so since i had less time as per the procedure i put the papers.
but than my manger started telling me that its not posiible to releve me and he said my performance was not good and am lieing and taking leaves but i still had many el's left so he was wrong than i went and spoke to the seniour manager he said he will releve me wen my manger wants so i went to vp who had returened back wen i entered his cabin he was very angry as i had resined without informing him he just said me that u have resined without asking me so now its in your manager hand ,so i went to manger and requested him very much i literealy begged him after that after 2 days manager agreed and he said me that he will relieve me on the requested date as senior manger has also agreed for it so i was very happy but afternoon senior manger called me and said that they wont relive me until 2 months and this decision is come from vp he has rejected to relieve me now my manger and Senior manger are helpless. wen i tired to contact the vp he said he doesn't want to meet me .
Now i have decide to not to come to the company after my requested date bcoz if i come than i wont be an employee but will be a slave.
i called and asked the company from where i have got offer they said relieving letter is a must .
document i have with me are
(1) all the educational certificates.
(2) Resignation letter copy.
(3) and for experience i have a copy of my offer and appointment letter and latest appraisal letter which shows that i am working here for 1.8yr.
(4)complete 1.8yr bank statement which shows that am getting salary from company account from past 1.8yr.
(5) valid passport,pan card ,address proof.
(6) i have not signed any bond or not taken any assets from the company due to which they can take any legal action against me
document which i don't have are
(1) Relieving letter
(2) Experience letter .
can the company take me with these documents are not what should i do , please send me your valuable suggestions
