Unsure If Your PAN Number Is Yours? Here's How to Confirm Before Reprinting

I have my PAN number, but I don't have my PAN card. I am not sure whether that number is mine or not. I want to confirm so that I can apply for its re-printing. Please help me.

You can go to the Income Tax website at http://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in to input the necessary information to obtain and verify your PAN number. There is also an option available for a duplicated PAN application.

First, tell me where did you get this PAN number when you don't have your card. Go to the link and check the status of your card and your personal details to verify if the information is correct.

If you find that the details do not match and the number is issued in your name, simply apply for a new card without disclosing that you already have one. Don't worry; this will not have any negative impact on you. OK
