1. Are there any other control measures we can suggest against lightning, other than Lightning Arrestors?
2. Is a lightning arrestor required to be provided at the top of the tallest structure? How can we calculate the area protected by a lightning arrestor?

I really appreciate your interest in these topics. There are no other known control measures to me against lightning. The protection we provide and the way we are to protect ourselves are well explained in the attachment. It is easy to understand. There are different types of lightning like ribbon lightning, bead lightning, or ball lightning, all having different characteristics and degrees of hazard.
