ESI Payments Going Fully Online: How Are Employers Adapting to This Change?

It has been informed that, from the 24th of this month, entire operations of ESI are going online. No ESI payments are being accepted at banks directly. All employers are expected to make online/offline payments, the details of which may be obtained from the enclosed file.

Hi! For the present, online payment, registration, returns, etc., are confined only to a few areas. In Bangalore, it is for the areas attached to the Sub-Regional Offices of Bommasandra and Peenya only. Some parts of West Bengal and Delhi are covered for the present. This will be extended to the other areas shortly. Until such time, employers in other areas may follow the old procedure.
