ESI Payments Going Fully Online: How Are Employers Adapting to This Change?

It has been informed that, from the 24th of this month, the entire operations of ESI are going online. No ESI payments are being accepted at banks directly. All employers are expected to make online/offline payments, the details of which may be obtained from the enclosed file.

Hi! Currently, online payment, registration, returns, etc., are confined to a few areas. In Bangalore, it is available for the areas attached to the Sub-Regional Offices of Bommasandra and Peenya only. Some parts of West Bengal and Delhi are also covered at present. This will be extended to other areas shortly. Until then, employers in other areas may follow the old procedure.
