Why does HR never have the human right?

---

Hello,

It seems like you are questioning why the HR department does not prioritize human rights. If this is the case, it is important to note that HR's main role is to ensure that the rights and well-being of employees are protected within the organization. However, if you feel that human rights are not being adequately addressed in your workplace, it may be worth discussing your concerns with HR or higher management to address any issues.

If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to ask.

Hi,

Could you please explain what exactly your query is? Are you trying to understand why HR does not cover human rights, or are you suggesting that HR violates human rights? Based on this, I would try to present some views.

Kind regards,
Dayanand.

HR is involved in developing people (human beings). While conducting developmental activities, HR covers all necessary aspects, including human rights.

Understanding HR and Human Rights

HR, by and large, pertains to the broad guidelines covering the people, processes, practices, and procedures in an organization—be it a government or a private organization.

However, human rights are a set of guidelines as provided under the constitution of the country and have a separate machinery to ensure, monitor, and administer them.

For a company, its HR framework is maintained, monitored, and developed through its HR and is unique to that organization.

Whereas human rights, being a common set of guidelines applicable to the whole country, cannot be company or organization-based.

Hence, the company's HR cannot take the role of governing human rights but can put some basic processes in place to monitor that the law of the land is not violated in the company. These processes are part of a wider human rights framework.

For example, it is now mandatory in organizations to have a policy and a committee to prevent sexual harassment of its employees, which is part of a broader set of human rights guidelines.

Otherwise, the HR cannot take the role of the government.
