To find out HR policies for field staff and back office staff, I would suggest you conduct a survey of pharma companies of your size. From the survey, you will learn about the compensation paid to field staff, back office staff, and HR policies governing field staff, etc.

Hi, I am also working in a pharmaceutical company. I too want some knowledge regarding HR policies in pharma companies. As far as salary formulation is concerned, we do have software for that, in which I just enter the number of days and all relevant data. Salary and expenses for the month are calculated. 
