Are Human Values and Spirituality Truly Reflected in Today's Management Practices?

SPIRITUALITY and HUMAN VALUES in MANAGEMENT

In our day-to-day life, we encounter several ethical questions. Does present management truly give importance to human values? To what extent do our so-called principles and guided spirituality help in delivering our management functions?

Just consider whether our duties are ethically acceptable and uphold human values. Many people engage in various rituals in the name of spirituality, but when it comes to executing principles guided by the Epics, they fall short.

If the situation is like this, how can the present generation and youth move in the correct direction? As management professionals, we should take care of this.

MANAGEMENT consists of MANAGE-'ME' and MANAGE-'MEN', so first, we should follow HUMAN ETHICAL VALUES in our daily lives and be role models for others.

I hope everyone considers HUMAN VALUES and their SPIRITUAL BELIEFS while performing their work.

You are right. The practice of human values is of paramount importance when it comes to consistency and long-standing success. Organizations that have a value system in place have been growing steadily, like the TATAs and Infosys. Unfortunately, some organizations have resorted to doing business at any cost and have also taken a beating during economic crises.

Importance of Teaching Values in B-Schools

These values MUST be taught in B-schools as a part of the curriculum so that we have a generation of young managers who are ethically strong, morally upright, and possess a good SQ.

Thanks for sharing.
