Overtime Calculation [Thread 253222]

I have these 2 questions please help me out....
How should I calculate Overtime for a Trading Proprietary business. & how should I decide the minimum wage hour for the employees ?
Please help me, I want answers very soon .

Over Time calculation= per day Basic+DA/8*2.
ur question about Minimum wage hour is not clear.

Pls refer the notification issued by government under minimum wages act to determine the Minimum Wges as the Notification declares waes for each bussiness such as Hospital, hotels, etc., I think your organization falls under the category of shops and establishment for which the rate in mumbai are as below
skilled4031, semi skilled 3931, unskilled:3831. If it does not come under the purview of any of the bussiness specfied in the chief labour commissioner .

over time calculation (as per the act,monthly salary)
Total salary/26/8*no of hrs OT*2
regarding minimum wages u can get it from labour dept (Your state)
