Dear All,

Thank you for the information regarding the new ceiling of ESI. I am working in an advertising agency and I want to know if we, as an advertising agency, are liable to pay the ESI. My understanding is that only manufacturing units are liable to pay ESI. Please guide me on the above matter.

Thank you,

Hi Friend,

Can anyone clarify whether Form 18 is sufficient for ESIC or EPF registration for address proof?

Hi all,

I had a few queries.

1) I have a family business (in packaging) with 3 employees - two unskilled and one semiskilled. One of our employees has been working with us for the last 30 years, and now he is leaving. Am I eligible to pay him gratuity and PF?

Please help me in resolving this problem.

Dear all,

Thank you for the information regarding the new ceiling of ESI. Please provide the ESI SOP, as we are now covered and need to understand ESI.

Dear Pallavi,

No, it is not required. Please refer to the Act for Gratuity - 10 or more members are required, and for PF, 20 or more members are needed. It's better to opt for an Insurance Policy that covers the pension scheme as well.

Regards,
Ramnath
