PF is to be calculated on basic + DA only. Bifurcation of employer's contribution 12% is (8.33% + 3.67%) 8.33% towards family pension and 3.67% to be added with the employee's contribution of 12%.An employee is eligible for PF if his basic + DA is Rs.6500/-PM or less than that.In case of consolidated salary basic + DA doesnot apply.
