Trouble Getting Your PF After a Rocky Exit? Here's How to Handle It

Hi all,

I wanted to know how to get the PF from the previous employers if a person has not properly separated. Maybe a fight with employers while leaving. How to handle this situation.

Regards,

Dear Kantha,

Your previous employer has no role if you have the following information about your PF account:

(1) Your PF number with the organization code.

(2) Your correct date of joining and leaving.

(3) If you have not joined any other organization that participates in the PF department after 60 days of leaving.

(4) It is mandatory to have a savings account with any bank, and this account must be without any joint account holder.

In short, if you are aware of all the above, you need to fill out two forms (Form 10 and Form 19C), which are available in any shop where other company forms are available. You are required to complete the form and obtain the signature of any authorized person (someone who is authorized to sign any documents as a true copy).

For PF withdrawal, it is not compulsory for the organization to sign the documents and submit them to the PF department. A member can also claim from the PF department.

If you need any help, please email me the following details at my ID [Login to view], or you can contact me at 93270 73135.

(1) Your company location, your joining and leaving date.

(2) Have you received any PF slip from your previous company? If yes, for which duration?

Dear Vika Seth,

I am very thankful for your prompt reply. Actually, that company is not in good shape, and then we, a group of about 10 people, decided to leave and left the company. Thank you so much for your information. Definitely, I will get back to you.
