MBA HR With Marketing Exp ..way To Get Into HR Job

Hi all
Iam a MBA 2009 passout with HR as my major and Marketing as minor, with haste I got into marketing job which I got through campus placements.Its been almost an year. Now I want to get into the HR field ... Will I be treated as a fresher? Please help me If I can get a HR job?

Yes Swapna--you will be treated as a fresher--in HR line. But some weightage may be given towards exposure to a working environment due to your mktg exp--may not amount to much in terms of salary though.

hi u exp is not count in Hr Dept Becoz u hve exp in marketing dept so u got a job in Hr As a Fresher,can u do job in Hr Dept As a recuriter if ys than i help u

If there is any opportunity in your current working company for HR you go through by it.
By that your experience in marketing may help you.
If you go out of the company your experience will not be considered.

Getting into HR from Marketing will be treated as a entry level profile yet you can be rest assured of a job if you fine tune your communication skills besides having an idea which HR area you want to get into - Recruitment or HR Operations kind.
