Confused About Provident Fund Forms When Joining? Let's Clarify What You Need to Fill

I am really confused about the provident fund formalities at the time of joining. Do I need to fill only Form No. 5 or do I have to fill Form No. 2 also?

Dear Mahal,

Form 2 - Nomination & declaration form to be submitted for new joinees by the employer to the PF Commissioner/Local Office.

Form 5 - Return of Employees qualifying for Membership which needs to be submitted to the PF Commissioner/Local Office.

Both forms need to be maintained when a person is joining an organization.
