I am working in a chemical manufacturing company and designing travel policies. There are certain questions that are coming to my mind. Request if someone can solve the same:
1. Is it necessary to pay daily allowance to the employee?
2. If yes, then on what basis should we define the same and what should be the maximum limit?
3. If the employee is getting free food and lodging, i.e., the employee is staying in the guest house and having food in the office premises, is it necessary to pay daily allowance to the employee? Why, even some part like 50% or so?
