I have one doubt. I am going to do the course "Corporate Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration" in HR from Symbiosis, Pune. Would it be beneficial for my future career or not? Currently, I am working at Hindalco.

Many times, it is observed that without acquiring sufficient basic or fundamental knowledge of HR, students wish to pursue advanced certifications. There are some short courses available, but for freshers, I feel it will be difficult. If they obtain these certifications, students often fail to look beyond the obvious. Corporations will certainly prefer candidates who have experience and maturity in specialized areas of HR.

Certifications hold importance, but understanding the core and basic concepts of HR is equally crucial.

The Importance of Experience in the Job Market

Nowadays, companies focus on experience. If you have hands-on experience, that is more than enough. In the job requirements or job description, certificates won't matter if you are experienced. However, it would be helpful if you are a fresher.
