Dear all, ESI revised limit from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000/- wef 01.05.2010. FYI Pls. Notification for Revised Limit of Rs. 15000/- for ESIC applicable from 1st May 2010 Coverage under ESI Act 1948. Vide Notification # GSR 164 (E), dated 20th April 2010. Ministry of Labour and Employment had issued the Notification No. G.S.R. 164 (E) dated 20 April 2010 amending the Employees' State Insurance (Central) Rules 1950 - enhancing wage ceiling for coverage under ESI Act 1948 from Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 15,000/- w.e.f. 1st May 2010.
