Confused About PF Withdrawal: Will I Get My Full 2.5 Years' Contributions?

Tazeen
Hello All,

I was a part of a limited company in Bombay with the head office in Delhi. I worked for almost 2.5 years and resigned from this company more than 1 year ago.

I approached my ex-employer to withdraw my PF amount. They gave me a form (not sure of the form number). It's a statement that shows my PF deductions for the last fiscal year with that company.

My question is, my tenure was over 2.5 years, but the form only states the deductions for the last fiscal year. The company advised me to submit this form to the Delhi PF office. If I do so, will I receive a settlement for 1 year of PF contributions or for my entire tenure of 2.5 years?

I have not yet submitted the form as I am in doubt. Please advise.

Thanks, Tazeen.

Hi Tazeen,

For PF claim, we should fill out Form No. 19 and Form 10C. These are the full and final settlement forms in PF. If your employer deducted your contribution and paid their contribution to the PF officer, then the PF office will provide Form No. 23 (PF slip) stating the amount of your contribution and your employer's contribution. You can collect this form from your employer. From there, you can identify your contribution period and amount.

Dear Tazeen,

In Form 19, it was mentioned as "Current financial year contribution." Please ensure that the company has submitted the correct forms at the PF office. Since you have completed 2.5 years of service, I believe your previous company has already submitted Form 3A for the last financial year.

Dear Member,

For PF withdrawal of Contribution for a period of 2.5 years, your ex-employer will provide you with Form 19 and 10C. In Form 19, your ex-employer will furnish the following details:
- Last contribution details from the date you left (one year)
- Your date of joining
- Your date of leaving
- Your non-contribution period

This information will be forwarded to the regional office. Furthermore, Form 10C contains ELIS details, and note that you will have a one-year period. Hope this information meets your needs.

I want to withdraw the PF directly from the PF office. Can you tell me if it is possible? If yes, then please explain the procedure for it. I don't know the contribution from the employer.

Hi, I was working for a rail manufacturing company in Baroda under agency role. After one and a half years, I was brought onto this company's payroll. I have submitted my PF withdrawal form to the agency company and have a receipt confirming that they have submitted it to the PF office. It has been nearly four months, and there has been no transfer of money into my account. The agency company in Mumbai states they are not responsible for any follow-up. Shouldn't the agency company be following up on my behalf in this situation? If not, how can I ensure that I receive my money?

Kindly guide.

Dear,

I need a favour from you regarding PF withdrawal. I worked in Delhi, but my company's head office is in Mumbai. When I went to the PF Office, they told me to courier the form to Maharashtra. Secondly, I got my form attested by my bank manager, who has my account, not by my employer. If you can help me with how I can withdraw the amount.

Thanks

Dear friends,

For the past two years, I have been working in the HR field. Previously, I was in NGO service. I am in need of all types of sample agreements for service providers and statutory compliance forms. Please assist me with this.

Thank you.

My query is regarding a company that deducted PF from my salary but has now shut down. What steps should I take to obtain the authorized signature from that company on my PF withdrawal forms? Alternatively, please advise on any other legal pathways to facilitate this process.
