It is depend on company policy... but for safety point of view it is very important to have skilled driver with license. Also, RTO is having special category of Fork Lift like LMV, Two wheeler etc.

Dear Friends,
If operation of your forklift will be confined to your premises only no driving license is required for the operator.
Now to ensure safety it is essential that the operators are trained and certified by competent authority in the organization. Normally training will be imparted by the manufacturer/supplier.
