Dear Yashkumar, I am a yoga teacher working with a media company. I felt really nice after going through the PPT. It is truly exhaustive and informative. I must appreciate your sincere effort in raising awareness among HR professionals about this new and indeed very effective aspect of development. Thanks for sharing. Also, I would like to know if you could suggest some activities that can be conducted in the organization.

With Warm Regards,

Dear Yash,

Good one; explanations are great. It can add value if the postures are included. The good thing is one should learn and practice under a supervisor (GURU).
Yashkumar
One can follow ASTANGA YOGA themselves, but not inspire his/her organization. They may not provide sufficient knowledge to their fellows or subordinates. Consequently, they can live their life with satisfaction, but their organization cannot benefit. Thus, following YOGA individually is not as important as encouraging others to follow it, which contributes to creating a good society.
Yashkumar
It is a poll, and I was confused. I think both should be an answer.

One can follow the Astanga yoga alone without applying it to their organizations. So, only oneself benefits. But one can introduce the path or give an explanation of how yoga benefits them in performing their duties. If the employees follow it step by step or as a whole, then their organization or society can benefit as a whole.

Thanks for your reply.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Re: Yoga and HR

Hi,

Yoga and HR are not directly correlated. When you practice yoga, your mind becomes fresh, and you perform better. Therefore, it helps in your work.

Dear YashKumar,

A nice presentation to maintain health and peace of mind. It is a million-dollar question as to whether the corporate sector has realized the importance of this in the days of globalization and recession. How many companies have given serious thought to the mental and physical health of their executives and workers? And how many companies really put this into practice? I appreciate your sincere effort to make HR professionals aware of it.

Thanks once again.
