Seeking Unique HR Project Ideas for My MBA: What Innovative Topics Should I Consider?

Hi all, I'm in the first year of my MBA. We are supposed to do our major project at the end of the 1st year. I've planned to take up HR as my specialization. I'm going to do my project in an IT company. It's a reputed firm. Can you please help me out in choosing my project topic? I don't wish to take up the usual ones like customer satisfaction, employer relations, absenteeism, etc. Please, can anyone help me with the same...?

I am also an MBA student in my 4th semester. Since you have selected an IT-based company, I think it would be nice if you choose employee turnover as the topic for your minor project.

I am pursuing my PG Diploma in HR. I also have to prepare a project and present it in June. However, I need to submit the topic by the 29th of this month. I am currently confused about which topic to select. I would be very grateful if either of you could assist me with this decision.

First of all, thanks for quoting a reply. Actually, I have these topics in my mind but I have to select a topic which is very specific, not very lengthy. It should be related to some company so that I can personally interview HR professionals of that particular company about the HR practices. Do you have any idea about any company undergoing some good HR practices in any HR topic?

Develop your research hypotheses and then find a questionnaire from those posted at CiteHr in the past. Prepare a draft of your own and post it for comments to pilot your questionnaire. You will learn a lot from that exercise rather than just getting someone else's.
