Determining the Allocation Percentage of Basic Salary in CTC and Compliance with PF Act

Dear Seniors,

Is there any rule regarding the percentage of CTC that should be allocated as the Basic amount?

In general, we typically consider it to be around 30-35%. I am curious to know if there is any specific rule regarding this in the PF act or the Payment of Wages act.
