A conversation between the Mother Camel and the Baby Camel.

Baby Camel: Mom, why do we have humps?

Mother Camel: As we are desert animals, we need the humps to store water.

Baby Camel: Then, why are our legs long and our feet rounded?

Mother Camel: Obviously, they are meant for walking in the desert better than anyone else.

Baby Camel: OK, then why are our eyelashes long? Sometimes, it bothers my sight.

Mother Camel: My dear son, those thick eyelashes are our protective covers from the desert sand and wind.

Baby Camel: So all these special organs are to make our life easier in the desert. Just one more question, Mom.

THEN, WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DOING IN THE ZOO?

MORAL: SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCES ARE USEFUL WHEN YOU ARE AT THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME.

You are absolutely right. Skills are of no use until or unless one gets the chance to use them. I believe that is the main reason why so many talented people leave the organizations that have no systems in place to tap their talent.

Good story with a different meaning this time. There is an advertisement of one of the placement agencies: a cricketer washing clothes with his bat. I think it says the same thing - right skills not used due to the wrong job. Thanks for sharing the story.
