You are welcome to the citeHR. Even I have joined recently. It's really helpful. Can you help me? I am an ITES recruiter in a consultancy in Hyderabad. I want to know, would my experience as a recruiter help me to get into core HR or HR generalist roles in the future? I wanted the opinion from a person working in an MNC/company. If you don't know much, can you consult your HR?

As I am getting offers for an IT recruiter role, I am just afraid. Would this experience be counted for HR positions in MNCs?

I want to ask you that... Can a recruiter's experience get me a job in HR? As people say that if you have recruitment experience, you would be able to get into HR later... Is it true? I am working as an ITES recruiter now... Should I also gather IT recruiter experience to get a good job in HR, or should I wait for an opportunity as an HR executive/HR generalist itself? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
