How Can I Make This Welcome Letter for New Joiners More Engaging and Warm?

Can anyone send me the draft for a welcome letter for a new joiner? Currently, I am using the draft below, but I want to make it more attractive:

"I am pleased to announce that Mr. _____ has joined us as ________ from _______ reporting to ________.
We all welcome _____ at Metro Telworks and wish him an enjoyable working experience."

Hello Sir,

I have one confusion. What is the meaning of the name above "Welcome"? It seems to be referring to an existing member of our office. If it is indeed an existing member, then why do we say "welcome in team" and which team is being referred to - the team within our company? If the person is already a part of the team, or if we are referring to a new person, then why do we use "him" below the welcome message?

Please clarify this for me.
