Submitting EPF Returns: Can You Convert Excel Files to CD Format for EPFO Gurgaon?

Dear All,

EPFO Gurgaon requires a CD format for submitting EPF returns. Is it possible to do this from Excel? Can anybody help me?

I am not sure, but my suggestion is, "you can write the file on a CD and submit it." Nowadays, everything is converted into a soft copy for maintaining records, which is cost-effective. The entries should be made by EPF employees, but they overwhelm us by simplifying their work so much.

This is Form 3A in an Excel sheet for submitting annual returns. I obtained it from the PF office.

Dear Mr. Santosh,

You are hereby advised to prepare the PF return in XLS format and save the file in DBF with the option "Save As." If required in XLS format, you may ask for it.
