Exploring HR from Scratch: How Can I Build a Solid Foundation During My MBA?

anisha2401
Hi All,

I am pursuing an MBA in HR. I would just like to know if anyone can help me out in understanding HR from start to end. Maybe what all is there in HR. How to start learning or gaining knowledge. Maybe a stepwise understanding.

Thanks,
Anisha

Hi Anisha, what do you want to know about HR? Do you want to learn practical things or theoretical concepts?

Ok, tell me one thing: what do you want to be after finishing your MBA? Do you want to be a recruiter, HR generalist, administrator, lecturer, or something else?

Hello Anisha,

I am also an MBA-HR. When I got admitted in HR, the same questions came to my mind. I was also very worried. But let me tell you, enjoy the MBA time, learn and unlearn, and don't be stubborn and stiff about learning. This time will never come back. Classes in MBA are just a way to get a degree, that's it. Nothing else. But try to get a good score in MBA.

Also, talking about practical studies, when you will actually be on some projects or finally placed and start working, then only you will get to learn.

Happy Learning! :)

Hi Anuj,

I am Kartika. I am planning to get admission in MBA HR. I want to know about the job prospects after an MBA in HR. Is it beneficial to do an MBA from Alagappa University through correspondence?

Reply, please. I am new to this site, so I know little about messages.

Hi Kartika,

It depends on your behavior, communication skills, attitude, and your ability to grasp things. Currently, a recession is looming. In this situation, if you are inclined towards pursuing an MBA in HR, you will need to work diligently. Don't worry, after completing the course, you can secure a job, but the aforementioned qualities should be authentic.
