Earned Leave,sick Leave And Casual Leave Calculation

Hello Everyone,

I am a accounts executive in a manufacturing firm. I would like to introduce myself. Its Priyangshu Chakraborty has been working since December 2006. Every time I was having a difficulty to calculate casual leave, earned leave and sick leave. So, I hope that everybody who are connected to citehr.com can help me to sort out the above problem. In every company they have their own terms and condition. But I want to know about the above matter (Standard format).

As per factory act, an employee is eligible for earned leave @1day for 20days on completion of 240days in the privious year. But in some companies, EL is credited on monthly basis & majority of thoese comapnies credit 1day for 11working days. what is the formula or calculation of 11 working days?

We are ervice provider company and we have introduced earned leave policy for employees some employee avail their leave and some do not when cleander years complete they ask for their leave an cashment,i would like to know the exact calculation how we can do this. we should consider these on basich or gorss. ps suggest me.
