priyangshu_dheeraj
Hello Everyone, I am an accounts executive in a manufacturing firm. I would like to introduce myself. I'm Priyangshu Chakraborty, and I have been working since December 2006. Every time I have difficulty calculating casual leave, earned leave, and sick leave. So, I hope that everybody who is connected to citehr.com can help me sort out the above problem. Every company has its own terms and conditions, but I want to know about the above matter (Standard format).

I will be waiting for your early response.

Warm regards,
Priyangshu Chakraborty

As per the Factory Act, an employee is eligible for earned leave at the rate of 1 day for every 20 days worked upon completion of 240 days in the previous year. However, in some companies, Earned Leave (EL) is credited on a monthly basis, and the majority of those companies credit 1 day for 11 working days. What is the formula or calculation for 11 working days?

We are a service provider company, and we have introduced an earned leave policy for employees. Some employees avail themselves of their leave, and some do not. When the calendar year is complete, they ask for their leave encashment. I would like to know the exact calculation of how we can do this. Should we consider this on a basic or gross basis? Please suggest.
