Can I Still Withdraw My PF After Leaving an MNC Over a Year Ago? Urgent Help Needed

chinnioo3
I worked in an MNC company for 1 year, and I have not withdrawn my PF. It has been more than 1 year since I left the company. Will I be able to withdraw the PF amount? Please give me the details as I am in urgency.

Thanks for your support.

Also, ensure that you enclose supportive documents (copy of bank passbook and cancelled cheque leaf) along with Form 19 and 10-C.

Hi,

One more query: in Form 10-C and Form 19, is it mandatory to obtain the signature of the previous employer or authorized official under the section "Signature of Employer/Authorized Official"?

Please advise.

Gunjan

Dear Ms. Gunjan,

Greetings for the day:)

Normally, you have to get it signed by the previous employer, but if the previous employer is not signing it, then you have some other options as well. You can get it signed by some other authorities also.

Yes, you can withdraw P.F., fill out Form 10 C and 19, and have them duly signed by an authorized person (P.F. Papers) of that company. Then, submit the forms to your regional P.F. office.

Yes, the PF amount does not go anywhere; it is deposited with the government. You can directly approach the PF company with your relieving letter and collect the necessary form to be duly filled and submitted. Once you get the forms, you will need to go to your old office, take necessary stamps and signatures, and resubmit to the PF office. You can even go to your office and ask them, but that will take time; hence, you can do it on your own.

Yes. You can send this form to the Commissioner of PF; he will, in turn, ask your employer to sign and approve it. Alternatively, you can also have this attested by Class 1 Officers and an MLA.

Hi,

Just wanted to know about the Employers' contribution to EPF. Is it 12%, or can it be even more than that? And if so, then up to what limit can Employers' contribution go?

Thank you

Hi Chinno,

If your current employer is not signing the form, you can submit this form to the RPF office with a letter mentioning that the current employer refused to process the application. The PF office will then directly contact the company to obtain the necessary signature.

Another important point to note is that if the company is not processing your claim within the stipulated timeframe or if it is not provided as required, you can also claim interest on the amount due to you, along with interest for any delays.
