Could you please provide information on the justified salary structure of a company? The salary package should encompass basic salary, dearness allowance (DA), house rent allowance (HRA), conveyance allowance, medical allowance, and provident fund deduction (PF).

Dear Mr. Singh,

Please correct me if I am wrong. In my understanding, if an employee's basic salary exceeds 6500 and the company continues to deduct 12% of an employee's basic salary if he wishes, then it is not mandatory for the organization to contribute the same amount, as it can continue to contribute a maximum of 12% of 6500.

If the company is deducting PF on the basic salary, then they also have to contribute the PF contribution on the same amount.
