Can I Take the UGC NET Exam with a PGDBM in HR and Finance? Seeking Guidance!

Hi,

Please help me out. I completed PGDBM in HR as a major and Finance as a minor. Can I appear for the UGC NET exam? My PGDBM is approved by AICTE and is a 2-year full-time course.

Yes! Of course, Lisa. You can.

OK, let me suggest a more satisfying way. Go to the UGC site and try to mock apply for UGC-NET Lecturership Exam. If your university name appears in the list from where you got your degree, you can rest assured that your qualification is valid. Isn't it?

So, let me know whether you tried it or not.

Hi Lisa,

Were you able to apply for the UGC-NET Lecturership Exam? I am also an MBA (2 yrs PGDBM) and want to apply for the same. So, let me know.

Thanks

Hi Gaurav,

Sorry for being late to reply. No, I haven't applied for NET because I am yet to clear my MBA. However, I tried to fill out a mock NET form online, and I noticed that my university is listed there. This assures me that I will be able to apply for NET.

Please check yours.

Thank you.

Sorry, Gaurav, I replied to your post directed to Lisa because I received it in my mail. Let Lisa reply to it. It seems like she has either applied or given up.

I have completed a PGDM (Executive) from IMT, Ghaziabad, with a dual major in Operations & Finance. Can I appear for the UGC NET Exam? My PGDM is AICTE approved and is a 15-month full-time program.

I am looking forward to enrolling in Distance Education - MBA from SMU. Is that the right decision as I aspire to apply for UGC-NET after completing my Master's Degree? Please guide me.

Sonali
