Struggling to Find Resources on Work-Life Balance for My MBA Project – Can You Help?

I am Padma, and I am new to this community. I am doing my MBA and need help from all of you for my final year project. I wish to take up "WORK LIFE BALANCE" as a topic, but I am having a hard time finding any material on this. If anyone has points or any information, could you please share with me?

Please consider the following points:
1. What is the need for work-life balance?
2. Why was it not a hot topic before the 90s, and why is there a need for it now?
3. What are the reasons for the imbalance? (on the employer side, on the employee side, societal pressure, etc.)
4. You can make a comparison between a worker and an artist for whom the job itself is leisurely.

Need for work-life balance: because we are not robots. We have a social side (other commitments) too - for example, family (satisfying the needs of wife, parents, child, friends). A man needs leisure; the purpose of earning is to live.

It's a hot topic in the post-90s because of globalization, competition, increased opportunity, changing values. Let me have one day; I'll email you in detail.
